Google Hot Trends detailedNeddless to say, search queries containing the term ‘video’ are absolutely in high demand. So in light of this, I simply do not understand why Google does not send its users to YouTube pages (or Google video pages), especially if the hot trend literally shouts for video content. Admittedly, they are trying to focus on the social network element by sending users to the Google Groups page through the “Discuss with others” link. But we all know that discussion can take place on YouTube pages too (even though the comment threads are not so cleverly organized and searchable as in Google groups, are they?) Also, in a community stlye, in addition to the mainstream media we get the blog search results on the left that treat with the current hot trends.

The complete list of the top ten is as follows (mind you only for May 24, and exclusively the US results).
