Welcome Freelance Search Marketing Jobs in New Orleans Louisiana

Working as a senior Account Strategist at a SEM and online marketing agency in New Orleans (the still startup Fabre Smith & Coco) was a great experience.

Fabre Smith & Coco some clientsFrom yesterday (Nov 15) I am officially a freelance search marketer and I am very excited about the new marketing opportunities and strategic partnerships I am looking ahead. Thank you, Fabre Smith & Coco (Janet, McKenzie & my colleagues) for the opportunities and the great goodbye lunch we had at Zea (there was even a bunch of Red Hat ladies sitting close by, which is an unknown phenomenon in Budapest Hungary where I am from).

So if I can be of help with your paid search campaigns in Google, Yahoo, MSN, or the Central Eastern European CPC system called Etarget, do not hesitate to contact me at ANNA SEBESTYEN AT GMAIL DOT COM and ask for a proposal. Only part time jobs, please. Sorry folks, I am not going to be a full time in-house SEM expert, so please do not ask me to work for you as your exclusive New Orleans search marketing director. I would like to keep my freedom and flexibility. I especially welcome working with companies with a strong social responsibility.

Specifications for the Proposal

If you wish to know some estimates, please send me the following details so that I can give you a proper proposal (usually for a 90-day trial period to see how search marketing works for your business):

  • website URL
  • geo-targeting (national, some states, regional, local metros etc.)
  • products/ services you wish to promote, with some of your sample keywords
  • target groups
  • planned budget
  • schedule
  • contact details

As my international search marketing experience is growing, I am more and more convinced that keyword marketing, besides being the ever most efficient and customer friendly advertising tool, is one of the best and fastest ways to learn about another culture. This time, after Europe, I am learning about the nationwide American, and regionally, the Gulf South culture through buying intentions expressed in search terms. Yes, I am learning about your business too, just like a doctor is learning about your health history, you show me your website and I start the healing and training process to make your site really viable and vibrant.

Through keyword research one can get the anatomy of values, interests, volume and nature of intentions for the whole purchase cycle of users. And then through the actual clicks, pageviews, time spent on site, entrance and exit pages, conversions, latencies (through cookies), etc. one can constantly confirm or reject certain assumptions marketers have about a market segment.

I have long been planning to carry out a psycholinguistic and/or semantic analysis regarding online search. Hopefully, now I will find some time to get down to this long due thesis as well, besides managing search campaigns for Louisiana based companies.

This is my first free day, so I finally had some minutes to register at Sphinn, and realize that ex-Googler Vanessa Fox has become a Search Engine Land editor. Congrats, Vanessa!
