Google Ad Trash Revamped On a Chinese Rickshaw - Tech Art

So this is not an official Google ad, but the rickshaw (sunlunche) guy recycled a Google AdSense trash maybe to bring some technological boost to the old rickshaw or maybe he just liked the color or the message.  (via Blogoscoped via Go Too Far East). Note, Google is not the number 1 search engine in China (it’s Baidu). But Google is everywhere as we feel, and see.
I like the irony, the mock advertising of the image. It reminds me of Andy Warhol gestures, but instead of movie and art icons we have technological icons in misplaced contexts. Of course, it would not have the same effect on an American cart… Or have we arrived in web 3.0? (blink - blink).

Anyway, it’s an excellent illustration for not just an art class but also for an internet marketing workshop or a sociology discussion on offline-online, blah-blah-blah.
