Interactive Diggnation Shows - Revision3 Partners with VideoClix
Diggnation, a weekly online TV show with about 200.000 viewers/ episode on average, went clickable using the interactive video technology of VideoClix. Diggnation.com, however, remains non-interactive saying “Check out the Interactive Version of this episode on VideoClix.tv.” It sounds an interesting experiment, I wonder when diggnation on their homey URL become interactive. It would definitely be a better bet to target the geeky viewers of Diggnation. “Their diehard viewers with their voracious appetite for information and entertainment will thoroughly enjoy the VideoClix experience.” (Babak Maghfourian, VideoClix founder and CEO)
From the press release:
San Francisco, CA (TK) – Revision3, the leader in exclusive Internet television, has partnered with VideoClix, a pioneer in clickable web video, to expand usability and interactivity for its viewers. The partnership will enable the Revision3 audience to click on different objects within video—including show hosts and products—for more information and interesting facts. Web phenomenon “Diggnation” will be the first Revision3 show to debut interactive episodes with this technology, beginning with this week’s show, available tonight, April 11 at 18:00 hours (CEST) at VideoClix.tv.
Here’s the interactively enhanced video experience, which can be easily embedded, but as you can see there are column limitations. Sorry.
Hey,
The way this video is embedded you can’t see the whole video let alone the info panel. Can you please embed it properly so we can see it. I watched it on the actually site, its simply a 640 by 400 player…
Thanks,
-James
James, thanks for pointing this thing out.

1, viewers can click on full screen view anytime.
2, To quote from the post above the player: “as you can see there are column limitations. Sorry.”
i.e. my blog column for posts is narrower than 640 so when the post is read under its own title (not on videovoo.com, the main URL), there would be an overlapping area. Unfortunately, the video player should scale down…
If you saw the videoclix revamp on the original site, happy you, happy me.
