StartYourTube Promising to Enable Businesses To Have Their Own YouTube

Businesses can not only create and customize their own ‘youtube’ or youtube-like channels for free, but can keep 60% of the ad revenue and use their own domain name through Start Your Tube, a Montreal based company supported by the Neotech Capital Innovation Hatchery. While domain masking is not available on the old YouTube as far as I know, personalization as well as revenue sharing is basically available on major contributors to youtube too (if you have your own legal material uploaded on a regular basis with considerable visitorship). And by the way, Startyourtube lets video content owners use unlimited ad networks… Sounds cool.

Here are two StartYourTube pages, which give the illusion of enhanced independence:

1, Snow Boarders’ Tube: http://www.snowboarderstube.com/

Snowboarders online video channel

2, Hunters’ Tube i.e. http://viewhunts.com/

Hunters online video channel View Hunts

Blog features are also available, scalability and search-engine friendliness is by default. Most of the ads on the long tail niche sites I have seen so far are Google AdWords highly targeted text and creative ads.

To quote from their press release:

StartYourTube.com is a search engine friendly web-based application that requires no programming experience.
“StartYourTube.com allows users to gain total control of the video sharing space from the look and feel to advertising and revenue,” notes Jean-Phillipe Gousse, CEO of StartYourTube.com. “Users are now able to organize the video sharing space and blogosphere environments into niche categories totally controlled by them and their networks. The platform is 100% scalable for size, user activity and bandwidth, and offers search, video and blog sharing, rating, ranking and playlist functionalities.”

As soon as I start my Budapest video channel, my hobby project, I will make use of this platform too.
